Hotel Uyah Amed & Spa Resort is located right at the beach and offers comfortable accommodation in poolside- and ocean view bungalows and family villas.
The ECO friendly Hotel Uyah Amed & Spa Resort with its Café Garam is build around the traditional salt panning which we preserve as point of interest for sustainability.
In close cooperation with our Amed Dive Center we can offer PADI & SSI dive courses, fun dives & snorkeling as well as Hotel accommodation & dive packages.
Poolside Bungalows in a lush garden. Our 6 poolside bungalows are placed around our smaller pool behind the lobby. All are equipped with electrical air-conditioners. Each bungalow has a size of 30 m² including bathroom plus a terrace of about 9 m². Five bungalows are equipped with king size double beds. One TWIN bungalow has two single beds.
Despite the fact that actually all our bungalows have sea view our Ocean view bungalows are closer to the beach. All are equipped with electrical air-conditioners. Each bungalow has a size of 30 m² including bathroom plus a terrace of about 9 m². Four TWIN bungalows are equipped with two single beds. 19 bungalows have king size double beds.
Our family villas have a size of 60 m² including one bathroom and a large terrace of about 12 m². The villas are equipped with one separate bedroom with a king size double bed and one living room with two single beds. Up to two extra beds can be added on request. Our family villas are all equipped with electrical air-conditioners.
We work in close cooperation with Amed Dive Center and offer SSI & PADI Scuba Dive courses, fun dives and snorkeling as well as Hotel Accommodation & Dive packages

Your Eco Hotel Resort is located in Amed, East Bali, an area known for its beautiful environment, fantastic dive sites and traditional Balinese lifestyle.
Hotel Uyah (the Salt Hotel) is built on and around existing “fields” for traditional sea salt panning in Amed and wants to preserve this heritage. Traditional salt panning is (during dry season) still operated by residents of the village Amed on our site!
Café Garam, which means Salt Café, is part of the Uyah Amed Hotel and Spa Resort, which we have translated as Salt Lodge Amed. Garam is Indonesian, and Uyah the Balinese word for salt.
And because we love nature, our hotel uses an ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM to be in harmony with the wonderful nature around us. Our eco-hotel is a reference and is recommended by Bali’s first eco-tourism guide, The Natural Guide
Diving in Bali, especially Amed, is an easy, comfortable and inexpensive way to explore the tropical waters. A huge variety of spectacular creatures like Mola Mola, mantas, sea turtles and much more can be found.
Amed Dive Center works in close cooperation with Hotel Uyah Amed and Spa Resort and offers PADI & SSI Dive courses, fun dives, snorkeling and Accommodation & Dive Packages. Our partner Amed Dive Center offers Introductory Dives, Scuba Diving, PADI & SSI Open Water Dive Courses, PADI Advanced Open Water Dive Courses, SSI Advanced Adventure Dive Courses, SSI Specialty Dive Courses and Fun Diving at Bali’s best Dive Sites.
